Pope Studio" (Herkimer, NY) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME) Love these books (I also have bought the D60s) not only is it written in a clear straight forward style but it has little tidbits that help find your way around the camera even if you have never owned a Nikon before. It also has cool geeky stuff like photos of the D90 being built at the factory and an in depth explanation of layers in and around the sensor! And there are photos to inspire your creativity scattered through out. This book has also helped me in working with the speedlight and the Multi Power Battery Pack. The Magic Lantern guide does spend some time explaining various features and how they relate to actual picture taking - not just the mechanics of how the feature works.
